Action Research - The Ultimate Coming Together of Theory and Practice

This week sees the end of the first use of the hotseat tool developed by Jonathan for expert guests to join the Ultraversity community. Anthony did a great job of finding Cyril Wilkinson who provided feedback to researchers on over 50 individual questions about action research. Questions asked were both practical and theoretical and the answers and follow up contributions allowed for a rich dialogue to flow between practitioners actively making a difference to the experience of people they work with in both schools and hospitals, and a ‘down to earth’ academic perspective on how to ensure there is rigor in the research.
